The Fire that Burned Huntley Project High School

Ok, so I’m going to make this a quick post in order to try something out.  However, it was some months ago that my old high school called Huntley Project High School burned to the ground on Sept 18, 2008.  I got up early in the morning to get my oldest boy breakfast and was listening to the radio when I heard that Huntley Project Schools canceled school due to the currently burning high school.

So I looked out my back door to look in the direction of the school about 13 miles away and saw smoke in the air.  Well, it was kind of a shock for me  at first but then continued into the day.   However, by afternoon, it was flattened to the ground; And by some thugs who probably had some kind of regret towards the principle or some teacher.  Anyhow, they have since paid for their adventures with playing with fire.  The fire lasted the majority of the day and smoke lifted form the ashes for day afterwards.  I’m sure there were a lot of people waiting to read the Yellowstone County News and get the facts available the fire and future school proceedings.

As you can see, not everything was burned on Sept 18, 2008 but it was basically all destoryed.
