Jonathan is involved in his community where he was born and raised.  He will be representing part of his community in which was reared.  Jonathan was an Eagle Scout that completed his Eagle Scout Project at the age of 18 at the Pompey’s Pillar National Monument, known as Pompey’s Pillar Rock.  Jonathan also runs the www.HuntleyProject.net website which is a community website Jonathan developed to help connect the community online.  Jonathan is a small business owner as well who develops and hosts websites.  As a member of the Board of Directors of the Huntley Project Museum, Jonathan is involved in his community, church, local chamber of commerce, and hoteliers. 

Jonathan McNiven Graduated from Arizona State University in May 2005 and moved back to Montana where he was reared as a child.  Now Mr. McNiven has three boys and a wonderful supportive wife Tana who supports him in his run for State Legislature. 

Jonathan cares about the way government is spending money, values the dollar and knows how to work.  Jonathan had 6 other brothers and sisters who learned the basic skills of hard work, honesty, integrity from growing up on their family subsistence farm.
